FORTIS Assurances chooses the CHORUS solution
06 January 2005
Linedata Services, a major player in financial IT services, announced today that FORTIS Assurances France has signed a contract for the CHORUS solution in an effort to renew their investment management system.
FORTIS Assurances, a French subsidiary of FORTIS, the European financial group with an international presence specialising in personal insurance, has been looking for a rapidly implementable solution incorporating the new IFRS standards to replace their old system.
According to Alain Régnault, Head of FORTIS Assurances France, “In addition to CHORUS being an ideal match for our needs on a functional level, Linedata Services was also able to provide us with a solution that can be implemented rapidly. The fact that the IFRS standards were already operational in the CHORUS solution and are used by several customers, as well as Linedata Services’ experience in migrating to the CHORUS solution, made all the difference during our selection process.”
Designed by Linedata Services for companies with an international presence, CHORUS is the leading fund accounting and administration software solution in Continental Europe for institutional and mutual funds.
Habib Aouad, Chief Operating Officer of Linedata Services Asset Management in France: “FORTIS Assurances was already using Linedata Services’ Master A solution to manage their life insurance, savings and retirement products. The overall consistency of the Linedata Services offering and CHORUS’s capability of integrating with the Master A solution were deciding factors for FORTIS Assurances when making their choice”.
This new sales success confirms the functional capability of the CHORUS solution and is a well-earned reward for Linedata Services’ continuous investment in R&D, aiming to provide increased responsiveness and added value to international asset managers.
